Mahi Khaliya


Ingredients:

Beef/mutton - 1/2 kg,    Sesame Seed - 1 tbs,    White Pepper - 1 tbs,    Whole Coriander

(sabat dhaniya) - 2 tbs,    Poppy Seed - 2 tbs,    Coconut Crush - 2 tbs,    Ginger/Garlic Paste

 - 1 tbs,    Salt - according to taste,    Black Seed (kalonji) - 1 tbs,    Onion - 3 blended,   

Green Chili - 6,    Turmeric (haldi) - 1 tbs,    Tamarind (imlee) - 1 cup,    Whole Red Chili - 6

White Cumin (White zeera) - 1 tbs,    Curry Leaf - 6 to 8,    Fenugreek Seed (methi dana)

- few seeds,    Oil - 1 cup.


Directions:
1. Boil meat and then take sesame seed, whole coriander, poppy seeds, coconut, green chili and blend it to powder.
2. Add powder to meat and marinate it.
3. Take whole red chili, curry leaf, white cumin, fenugreek seed and fry it in oil til its colour turns dark, now add onion paste fry it to light brown, then add turmeric, salt, ginger/garlic paste, meat and cook it for 5 to 10 mins.
4. If curry looks dry, add little water to it and cook, after 10 mins add tamarind on it and mix it well.
5. Your Mahi Khaliya is ready serve it with green chili, rice and cracker.
